Plants are very helpful to the environment, in ways that cannot be acknowledged from our perspective. Plants provide warmth and shelter for animal wildlife all around the world, they provide food for the ecosystem, and absorb the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide and release oxygen for us to breathe. Unhealthy air and chemical pollutants seep into your home and workspace, without you realizing it. A very natural and very healthy way to combat these volatile pollutants are indoor plants. Plants go through cellular respiration, which all living things go through.Aerobic  Cellular respiration is a way to breathe and make energy. For humans we use 6O2+C6H12O2 (Glucose) to create H20+Adenosine Triphosphate(ATP or energy)+CO2(carbon dioxide. Plants also go through aerobic cellular respiration, but for them it is a bit different. Their formula is O2+C6H12O2 to H20+ATP+O2. You see plants are autotrophs. That means that they produce their own food (which is the glucose carbohydrate) during photosynthesis which is a completely different process that occurs in the chloroplast of the plant cell. Photosynthesis is  glucose, carbon dioxide, and light energy to make glucose. But, when plants breathe, they release more oxygen than they use. We breathe in oxygen. So, the oxygen released from the plants is used by us which is beneficial for us. Some very good air purifiers are Aloe Vera, Spider Plant, Snake Plant, Peace Lily, Chrysanthemum, and the Bamboo Palm. That's why you feel better when you go outside and take a deep breath.
