Mango Smoothie for Mind Body Skin

“Mango Lassi” – Recipe

Mangoes are considered as Ayurvedic super fruits. Ripe mangoes pacify Pitta and is nourishing to heart and tissues according to Ayurveda principles. Mangoes are natural diuretic and prevents constipation and improves digestion. 

Summer is nearing and mangoes can calm the pitta and cools your body. Here’s a healthy nourishing summer drink with Mangoes.  

Mango Lassi – Ingredients

  1. Ripened mangoes (peeled and chopped) – 1 cup

  2. Full fat Yoghurt – 1 cup

  3. Honey – 4 tbsp. 

  4. Cardamom – ¼ tsp

  5. Mint leaves – To garnish 

Method of preparation –

In a blender, blend smooth mango and yoghurt together. Transfer to a glass and add honey as required. If mangoes are really sweet you can always skip the honey part. Add a dash of cardamom for flavor. Garnish with mint leaves and serve. 

This recipe is so refreshing and nourishing. Keep the summer heat away with this tasty lassi.
