Dry Winter Skin ?

Dry skin is common in the winter season, as their is minimal humidity in the air. This is also commonly associated with increase in the air element, and earth element, as the Fall to winter transition is usually associated with imbalances in the two main elements Air, and Earth. Vata dosha and Kapha Dosha.

Other reasons for dry skin also include:

  1. Use Moisturizer on your skin immediately after bathing when the skin is some what wet with good Lotion of your choice

  5. Use creamy or oil face washes instead of Gel based.

  6. Consult a dermatologist if your dried skin is flaky,itchy,redness.
