Oil Wash VS Facial Wipes
We’ve all had those days, where we come home from a long day and immediately want to remove all our makeup and just relax. Removing the layers of makeup, you get an instant refreshing feeling and it’s like your skin can breathe again. There are many ways of getting the job done, but are they all the best way to leave your skin glowing and without causing skin issues?
Many people think makeup wipes are the best way to go. Easy and fast way to remove your makeup in a pinch. It takes only a single wipe and all of your makeup is gone, or so you believe. To be fair wipes can take makeup off, but it often leaves a thin layer of makeup in your pores and still on the skin. What many don’t realize is that it's even happening and they continue to use them. By continuing to use them and rubbing the skin in an attempt to remove dirt, oil and makeup from their busy day they are also causing irritation to the skin as one pass with a wipe is often just not enough to remove it all. Wipes are also stripping to the skin and removes the skin's natural oils. This also can lead to premature aging, acne breakouts, dehydration, skin irritations and redness.
Though makeup wipes are convenient and can take some of your makeup off, using an oil cleanser/ or makeup remover is the best way for your skin’s overall health and protecting the skin barrier to better perform for our everyday needs. Oil based washes and makeup remover often leave skin hydrated, nourished, while removing unwanted dirt and of course makeup. They are also a great way to unclog pores and using an oil cleanser/ or a makeup remover really targets the skin and not just removing the layers of makeup.
So next time you want to remove your makeup with better benefits, make sure to grab an oil cleanser/ or makeup remover and get to removing all the day’s gunk while leaving your skin refreshed.
