What is a Liquid Facelift?

Liquid facelifts are generally subtler than actual surgical facelifts. It uses a combination of injectable fillers to treat the wrinkles, sagging and fine lines that appear on your face. And the important thing here is there is no re-draping and removing excess skin via incision.

When age advances our skin’s connective tissues such as collagen and elastin naturally break down. The face fat is also lost which results in sagging of the skin. These will eventually lead to an aged and gaunt look on your face. Facelifts is a minimally invasive procedure and it helps replenishing volume within the skin tissue and thereby help counter the aging signs.

What are the top reasons to choose liquid facelift over surgical facelift?

  • Cheaper

  • Safer

  •  have significantly less recovery time

  • less bruising

  • restores volume within the face rather than simply stretching the skin

How is the procedure done?

The physician  will mark injection locations on the face for the desired results.  They may also address the volume loss. The injection areas have to be cleaned and  topical numbing agents will be applied to ensure that the process is as comfortable as possible. This is why liquid facelift is painless when compared to surgical face lift.

Once the tissue has numbed, the injections will be performed with a thin needle. The injection areas will then be massaged to help the filler to settle smoothly.

Usually you must receive repeat injections to maintain results.

The most common class of fillers used is Hyaluronic acid (HA).

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance found in the human body. It is a key component of skin, providing hydration and helping to maintain its structure and elasticity.
