Can I say, this is a month we should all be waiting for!. Since Jupiter has been in Taurus in the beginning of June, we have anticipated its benefic energies in different areas of the micro and macrocosm i.e. economy, financial growth, abundance in most areas of life. However since Jupiter has still been in the clasp of the South Node Ketu, we haven't been really able to experience all this wonderful Jupiterian energy. This is finally coming to an end, Jupiter will be out of the grasp of Ketus' trinal hold on July 12th. From this day onwards, depending on what House Taurus is for you, start to expect more prominent beneficial effects of Jupiterian energy.
Another Major Shift from June 30th is the stationing and turning retrograde of the big heavenly planet of Saturn in the sign of Aqaurius, we will see its retrograde motion from July 1st until Nov, a significant happening in the sign of Aquarius specially if you have major planets in this sign or in its opposing sign of Leo. This being a heavy planet of Karma, expect Karmic topics to be the major theme, retrograde period of any planet is a time of reflection and reassessment and for us to become aware of our choices and look at them with a sharper lens.
As far as the Moon, it is making a New Moon Conjunction with the Sun in Gemini in the Nakshatra of Punarvasu on July 5th. This nakshatra means ‘return of the light’, after a tumultuous time expect the calmness and the ray of hope. The New Moon is a time to write new goals and desires in the blank canvas, restart your projects previously abandoned. Since this is in the Zodiac of Gemini, the natural 3rd house, the focus will be around travel and communication.
Mercury is shifting Into Cancer, although this planet of our “mind” and “intellect” is uncomfortable in this emotional sign of Water, this will bring us back to reassessing things with more discernment, and not letting our emotions get the best of us. Staying practical and not jumping on making decisions based on whim is what is expected for smooth sailing this month. This does mark the beginning of Hurricane season to expect more rains and disruption of travel due to weather and it is best to be prepared for that.
Venus enters Cancer the early part of the month, which will turn our focus to beautify and create more value in the natural 4rth house of the zodiac, which is home,security, family, maternal bonds. Depending on what House of the zodiac cancer is for you expect more light hearted focus for this area of life. Romance will be in the air, as emotions will be highlighted in romantic conversations, and with Mercury being in Cancer as well, these emotions will be communicated !!
The Full Moon this month around July 21st in the Nakshatra of Uttara Ashadha in the zodiac of Capricorn, the highlight of this full moon has its major theme around work and structure with it happening in the natural 10th house. Depending on what hour Capricorn is for you, the Full Moon is a time for clarity, as the Moon shines brightly, it will bring to light all things hidden and unclear. It is a time for revelation and releasing all that does not serve us, embracing the things meant for us.
Mars in the later half of the month will enter Taurus, Mars a fiery planet in an Earth sign of taurus, gives more structure to our passionate goals, it is the formation of the desires into the physical plain.
I do expect July to be a month of what I call Major Events, with Jupiter finally releasing from the grasp of the South Node of the Moon, and Saturn turning retrograde are always extremely happening times!!
